Austin, Texas 2020– Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize businesses, on April 6th announced that Cindy Richter is the recipient of the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award. The Vistage Lifetime Achievement Award honors the achievements and ongoing commitment to learning and development of a longstanding Vistage member. These members draw from a deep well of experience and are generous in their support of fellow members. Their business achievements are inspirational and they have a track record of great decisions that benefit their companies, families and communities.

Noteworthy stories over the years has to start with Vanguard Fire & Security Systems safety record. As a woman owned business for 16 years, Cindy transformed her company when it comes to safety. Vanguard went 130 months without an accident and received a 2014 national award for this over 10-year accomplishment.

As a peer advisory group member of CE4943 since 2008, she is the one the members look to for a thoughtful, objective view of any issue processed. Her Kraig Kramer’s KPI (Key Performance Indicators) charts and graphs are the benchmark in this group since 2009.  Rosey Rosenberger’s “Process Triage” workshop in 2018 enabled Vanguard to implement the process with her installation department and increased their performance and margins. Cindy remains focused on employee engagement and their retention is one of the highest in her business owner group.

The Austin Business Journal recognized Vanguard as one of the Best Places to Work 2019 and on the Top Women Owned Business list for 2019 and 2018. Cindy was a finalist for their Profiles in Power award in 2019. Cindy has been a member of the Austin Chapter of National Association of Women in Construction for the past 11 years where she has served as Safety Chair, Secretary, and President. She supports her alma mater Texas A&M University through speaking engagements.
